Listen to Yuusyokutai member about Yuusyokutai.

Eunji: Hello! Thank you so much for the interview today! I'm going to start the interview now! First of all, please introduce yourself to the people who see this interview!

Robi: Yes! I’m Robi from Australia. I'm a senior in the Department of FILA, and I'm the leader of the Yushokutai.

Eunji: Thank you! Please let me know if you have any hobbies.

Robi: My hobby is dancing and I like idols!

Eunji: Who do you like about idols?

Robi: I like Johnny’s, especially Arashi and the Stones!

Eunji: I see! When did you start dancing?

Robi: I started at the age of four, and I did ballet, classical, jazz, modern dance for the first time, then quit once, started Hip-hop, and after that, I joined D.I.CREW!

Eunji: I think ballet and hip-hop are completely different, so it's really amazing!

Robi: Well, so when I first started Hip-hop, I got in trouble.

Eunji: Still, it's amazing that you kept dancing!

Eunji: Thank you!I'd like to move on to the interview, but before that, could you introduce the Yushokutai for those who don't know the Yushokutai?

Robi: Yushokutai is a group of senior undergraduates and sophomores who mainly support staff who are active in Ryukitsu! Since we are a senior and a sophomore in graduate school, as the last Ryukitsu, we are working with the goal of supporting staff, focusing on thanking them for their memories, universities, and founders. As for the activities, if the festival is as usual, we will give dinner to participants on the night of the festival, encourage them to make souvenirs for each event, but last year and this year, we will encourage them in various ways online. And we started on Instagram this year, and from there, we’re trying to make all the staff feel closer to the Yushokutai.

Eunji: I see! It's sad that the activities are online, but I can't help but thank you for supporting us so much that I don't think I could have done it without the Yushokutai! Also, Instagram is so funny that I laugh alone and get encouraged to be moved by myself. Thank you so much!

Eunji: This year's Yushokutai was almost online, so it must have been hard, but how was it?

Robi: Well, It was online this year, so there weren't that many people who could gather and participate, but it was fun!

Eunji: I see! I want to know your story! Then, let's start with the first question! Please let me know if you have any memorable experiences or particularly important things about the Yushokutai!

Robi: One memorable experience is planning! We started our activities in the middle of August, and I was the leader, two of us were vice leaders, and the three of us mainly planned various things. During summer vacation, we had meetings quite often on Zoom, but it was fun to make that plan. There were many things we had to think about, so I had a hard time, but it was fun after all! So I didn't feel pressured, and I was stressed out thinking a lot, but I didn't feel stressed. And if I look back on it, I think the most important thing is to thank the staff. Our goal is to support the staff, and the most important thing I want to tell everyone is "thank you for giving me the opportunity to support them." So I thought gratitude was the most important thing!

Eunji: "Thank you for giving me the opportunity to support you," .. where did that thought come from?

Robi: We've had experience as staff and received support from the Yushokutai, so if we're in a Yushokutai, we'll always think about what's best for the staff. So, I feel grateful to them for giving us the opportunity to support them.

Eunji: I see! In other words, First of all, you wanted to support the staff! But when you don't know how to support them, because the staff are working hard on events and plans, you can get more opportunities to support them, and you want to thank the staff.

Robi: That's right! And seeing the staff working hard gives us encouragement, so I think the way to support them is two ways. it's also in support, appreciation, or encouragement..

Eun-ji: Thank you very much for saying that. Yushokutai always works for the staff and supports them with all their might, so I didn't know where the driving force and feelings came from, and I was wondering how they could give that much support staff, so I was really happy to hear that, and I thought I had to continue to do my best! Thank you so much to the Yushokutai!haha

Eunji: Then let's start with the second question! "How do you think your mission as a Yushokutai or activities of Yushokutai have changed compared to before Corona?" You told me about the activities earlier, but if you have something more, please share it!

Robi: Well, as I said earlier, I don't think my mission has changed much because we’re doing activities thanking the staff. But as our activities change, we're planning various things to convey our feelings in a new way.

Eunji: That's why you made Instagram!

Robi: That's right! As expected, I thought about what was the closest thing, and realized that there was no Instagram Yushokutai page, so we tried to make it! we’re planning to come up with a lot of creative ideas.

Eunji: That's amazing. If you really express your feelings face-to-face, you may be able to convey them right away, but I think it's quite difficult online, so I think it's amazing that you're taking on a new challenge, and I'm grateful! Instagram is really encouraged by stories and posts! Do you have any plans that you want to do in the future? Is it a secret? haha

Robi: Yes, it's a secret! haha

Eunji: Yes! I'm looking forward to it!!

Robi: There's a really good project in the lineup, so please look forward to it!

Eunji: It's not one!I'm looking forward to it! haha

Eunji: The last question is, "Is there a determination you would like to share with the actual Juniors?"

Robi: The theme of this year's dinner party is “One Heart in Harmony”, which means concentricity. I want to share my determination. That is to respect each other's existence, support each other, and stick to each other for the same goal! Everyone is here, so I want you to get rid of your worries and be confident in your actions and stick to it with your whole body! I think it's very important to finish it, so everyone is the last spurt, so don't forget to do it and believe in the power you have! Also, don't forget your initial feelings! I want you to take the heart that you initially wanted to make up your mind to the origin and axis! I think it's going to be energy from there! Lastly, as I said earlier, I want to say thank you!

Eunji: Thank you for sharing such important things that we all do together and don't forget our original intentions! Thank you for accepting my interview today!
