Minju: Hello Jane! How are you these days?
Jane: I'm doing good Minju!! But I'm a little busy though. By the way, the last event of the FSA is coming!
Minju: Yeah, the Forever Party is coming soon! As you know this interview is about FSA as well, right?
Jane: Of course!! That's why I became the Tsubasa of this month. lol
Minju: Thank you so much for taking the interview despite hectic days!!
Jane: Thank you for giving me this precious opportunity!
Minju: I'm looking forward to today's interview! Then let's move on to the interview! You worked hard at the FSA this year. How was it?
Jane: It was a happy year eventhough it was busy in reality. I tried my best to balance my schedule since it turns out to be the last chance to participate in campus activities for me.

Minju: That's wonderful!
Jane: Besides studying and working part-time, I decided to challenge the FSA at the same time as a member of the photography department of the student community association, as the second head of a dormitory, and as head of the Photography department of the international student cafe. While I spent hectic days I realized that balancing was not easy. I wanted to serve my beloved dormitory and FSA more, but I was also responsible for other places, during my daily life so I felt kind of frustrated every day. I was greedy to have plenty of activities, however, I realized they are not only fun thing to receive but also a responsibility to commit. Thus, I took on a lot of responsibility and learned so much about my ambiguous limits.
Minju: On the other hand, you might get pressured from so much responsibility.
Jane: That's right. However I decided to do my best to the end because I believe in myself. I could have been persuaded by various opinions from different perspectives of my FSA members. But these indifferences, make me have a broader perspective, become more flexible, and become an intuitive person who understands other people's thoughts. Furthermore, FSA has taken good care and supported each other, so it is easy to work out in groups even problems arise. It is all thanks to the FSA that I have become able to trust people. When I looked back at myself, who had just joined the FSA, the FSA changed me more than I could imagine and helped me grow up. Above all, the members of the 2022's FSA members gave me a family-like warmth. I will never regret what I've decided. Sometimes it's harsh and sometimes It's wonderful at the FSA, but whenever it is, I was able to meet people who will support and laugh with me. I think this association is not just a place that recognizes and accepts me, but a niche and a family that I love.

Minju: Now I'm crying!! You helped us out with things that we weren't able to accomplish. I'm so glad I was able to work with you!! Then, If you can do FSA activities next year, would you be the second year?
Jane: This year at the FSA is a great experience that has grown me a lot, so if I can stay at the FSA next year, I would like to do so.
Minju: Wow, that's great!! I'm glad to hear that! Then, when was the most impressive moment during the FSA activities?
Jane: For me, every moment with the FSA was so precious. So, I can't pick out. However, If I had to choose a moment that left a strong impression on me, I can think of two. The first one was during the Friendship Festival. It was both the first FSA’s event and my first event in charge. I still remember how I was nervous and how I enjoyed it. At that time, we were really happy to see international students enjoying the games and conversation topics that we worked hard to make.
Minju: I still remember the Friendship Festival, but despite the first event, it was so perfect that it didn't look like the first event at all! What's your second one?
Jane: The second is at the regular meeting, maybe during the rehearsal, and the time after the event is over. At the regular meeting, we had to think critically and find improvements after the rehearsal, but we had such a good time with our members when we were tired. During the event, we all worked hard to act our assignments, and also after the event, we saw each other's tired faces and felt that we worked hard together, and we were really happy to be able to say, "Good job."

Minju: Yes, there were a lot of tired moments while preparing for the event, but I can only remember spending happy days encouraging each other around me.Oh…. I love FSA!!!
Jane: Me too! I love this year's FSA!!
Minju: This year’s foreign student association will end soon and start a new journey next year with new members, but lastly, please send a message to the new FSA members who are joining in!!
Jane: Okay…I really want you all to know that when you enter the FSA, you will definitely challenge yourself to balance and accept other values, but the FSA is the only place you can grow up and cheer up in such a warm environment, so don't hesitate to fight yourself and build a lifelong friendship!
Minju: Jane... I'm so touched. Thank you so much for your wonderful experience and warm message today!! You did a great job this year!
Jane: Thank you very much for giving me this valuable time!
